This year I'm a sophomore and I play tenors, but I'm not a full time percussionist. I play bassoon during concert season, and I think I'm in Wind Symphony this year. I began playing percussion at band camp my freshman year. I only get to do so because bassoon cant be marched. I joined band my 8th grade year and I expected to play percussion. When I asked the teacher if I could, she asked what else I would want to play. I said bassoon, and she instantly placed me on it. It wasnt fair at all, and now Smith thinks that bassoon is all I should practice. So I guess I'm stuck as a half percussionist for the rest of high school. Anyways, last year I practiced by watching alotta youtube videos, (I posted some of my favorites under the band camp topic. Watching them shows you how good you can truly be, and sets your goals higher) observing how things were done, and playing on my pad all the time (like in PE).
Other things about me irrelevant to drumline: I like to write(not music), swim, eat, play video games, and other stuff.
